DeKalb County Schools Universal / Standard Precautions Workshop

     All DeKalb County employees are encouraged to attend a Universal Precautions workshop each year.

     This web site has been established as an tool to provide information and education on Universal Precautions. Employees may choose to attend a live workshop or to attend an online "virtual workshop" here.

     After attending a live or virtual workshop, Make sure to submit your "Attendance Verification Form" to the school nurse assigned at your school.

      To earn credit for "attending" this virtual workshop, you must do the following:
  1. View and study the Universal Precautions presentation.
  2. Read the workshop handouts.
  3. Print and file the workshop handouts for future reference.
  4. Print and sign a hard copy of the "Workshop Attendance Verification Form." Submit the signed form to the school nurse assigned to your school.
