To set up Outlook

1. Open Outlook

2. Go to "Tools"

3. Go to "Accounts"

4. Click on "Add"

 5. Click on "Mail"

6. Type your name in the box, NOT your email address.

7. Click "Next"

 

8. Type in your email address here.

9. Click "Next"

10. The first box should say POP3

      Type in the following commands (or copy and paste) for Incoming and Outgoing mail.

      pop.dekalbk12.org

      mail.dekalbk12.org

11. Click "Next"

12. In "Account name" type your e-mail user name

      Ex- cdwarren

      In "Password" type your e-mail password.

NOTE: Do not check "Remember password" unless you are the only person (no students)

      using your computer!

13. Click "Next"

 

14. Click "Finish"

15. Click "Close"

 

Then

Go back to "Accounts"

Click on "Mail"

 

Click on "Properties"

This box will appear, click on "Servers".

 

Put a check mark beside the box "My server requires authentication"

Click "Apply"

Click "OK"
